Positano – Amalfi Coast Honeymoon

Being a wedding photographer in Sicily is a dream job in itself, but every now and then, I’m lucky enough to embark on exciting adventures as a destination wedding photographer.

Last summer, I had the pleasure of capturing the honeymoon of Kelly and Nick in the picturesque town of Positano, Amalfi Coast.

Kelly, a famous TV journalist, and Nick, an aesthetics surgeon, had tied the knot in New York before embarking on their dream honeymoon in Italy. When they reached the stunning Amalfi Coast, they reached out to me and my videographer, Luca Milazzo, to document their time there.

From the moment we arrived at their hotel, Buca di Bacco Hotel, I knew it was going to be an unforgettable experience. Their room boasted a breathtaking view from the balcony, overlooking the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea. As Kelly and Nick relaxed with Aperol spritzes in hand, taking in the beauty around them, I couldn’t help but feel excited about the photos we were going to capture.

Our first stop was a leisurely promenade through the charming streets of Positano. Despite the bustling crowds, Kelly and Nick’s love for each other seemed to create a bubble of serenity around them. They laughed, whispered sweet nothings, and stole tender glances as we wandered through the picturesque alleyways lined with pastel-colored buildings.

With the iconic backdrop of Positano’s cliffside houses and the shimmering sea, every shot felt like a work of art.

Throughout the photoshoot, Kelly and Nick’s chemistry was palpable, making my job as their photographer a joyous one. Whether they were dancing on the sand, sharing a kiss under the Mediterranean sun, or simply holding hands as they strolled along the shore, every moment was infused with love and happiness.

Working alongside Luca, we were able to capture not just the visual beauty of Positano, but also the emotion and romance of Kelly and Nick’s honeymoon. As we wrapped up the photoshoot and said our goodbyes, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a special chapter in their lives.

Looking back on that day, I’m reminded of the magic that can happen when love, beauty, and photography come together. Kelly and Nick’s Positano photoshoot will always hold a special place in my heart, serving as a reminder of the power of love and the joy of capturing it through my lens
